This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts and in their minds will I write them and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

If one will carefully study the Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago, they will notice that God did not give us clear delineation as to the actual date in which He was born. God probably realized that if He gave us the exact day, his people would probably worship the day and not the Savior, and that most certainly the pagan would pervert the day by taking Christ out of Christmas and corrupt it with every vain imagination.

It could be that His thinking was in this wise... the birth of Christ is not a celebration that occurs once a season, but more importantly, every time one is brought from the depths of spiritual darkness into His marvelous Light. If you will take the time to prayerfully study out the below mentioned scriptures (Luke 2:21-38), you will find that Christmas came, at least for Simeon and Anna, thirty-three days after that first Christmas Celebration!

“For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; a Light to lighten the Gentiles and the glory of thy people Israel”. Luke 2:30-32

If you have never celebrated Christmas in the likeness of Simeon and Anna, it is my hope and prayer for you that Christ will be born in your heart this Christmas Season.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Merry Christmas and God’s Rich Blessing This Upcoming Year.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

This is by far my most favourite passage of uniquely inspired Scripture!

Thanks so much for taking the time to break this living bread with us. Jesus the same, yesterday, today and forever.

Peace to you and yours and blessings in the new year.
